CASE STUDY: Kaiser Permanente PROJECT: Appreciation event

Challenge

To recognize Kaiser’s business partners (brokers) for their contributions in order to strengthen relationships and encourage brokers to continue to promote their products and services.

Hook

Winter’s Eve

Tactics

Fusion Event Marketing transformed the World Trade Center Skybridge Terrace into a wintery, wonderland complete with a six-foot ice bar carved with the Winter's Eve logo, a swanky lounge overlooking the Willamette river, snowy birch trees, ice-cube-filled centerpieces, and hundreds of white twinkle lights. Photo booths, disguised as snow-covered mountain peaks, towered over the back of the room. Brokers were encouraged to take photos with props, such as ski goggles, furry snow hats, and earmuffs.

The evening's entertainment included live swing music and carolers dressed in lavish, Old English costumes who wound through the guests singing holiday carols.

As guests networked and enjoyed the entertainment, they dined on warm comfort foods, such as roast beef and mashed potatoes, and gourmet macaroni and cheese. Spanish coffee, the signature cocktail, was also available.

Results

Fusion Event Marketing created a remarkable event that attracted approximately 250 guests.

“It’s important that we recognize our brokers at this year-end event and give them the opportunity to network with our employees. Our guests enjoyed themselves and were impressed by Fusion Event Marketing’s creativity,” said Karen Weiland, Director of Broker Relations.
